Welcome to the Wiltshire Community Media Foundation website.

The WCMF is a dedicated non-profit making organisation run to establish community broadcasting projects in Wiltshire and the surrounding areas.

Our main aims are to establish community radio projects in local communities and to provide a way for local people to directly contribute to the project through a number of means.

In addition, projects will be specifically designed to provide opportunity for contributors to learn new skills. As well as developing skills in radio presentation and production, many contributors will find the service a useful way of developing numeracy, literacy and interpersonal skills.

Many projects will be established in, or targeted towards, communities where there has been difficulty in promoting learning and self development, or in areas where crime, limited resources or general poverty may lower self esteem.
